Cookie Policy
Last updated: January 14, 2026
This Cookie Policy explains, in plain language, what files are stored on your device when you visit syncmeshar.com, for what purpose and how you can exercise granular control over them.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files that a website places in your device's browser to remember information across pages or between visits. We also use equivalent technologies (local storage, pixels, advertising identifiers) subject to the same consent rules.
2. Google Consent Mode v2
Syncmeshar implements Google Consent Mode v2 with full rejection as the default. Before loading any Google tag (Google Ads, Google Analytics 4 or others), the site explicitly declares that the categories ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, analytics_storage and personalization_storage are set to «denied». Only functionality_storage and security_storage are kept as «granted» because they are strictly necessary to operate the site and protect your session. We also activate ads_data_redaction=true and url_passthrough=true to minimize the exposure of identifiers while the user has not granted explicit consent.
3. Updating consent
When you interact with the cookie banner — accepting all, rejecting all or saving your detailed preferences — the site executes the function gtag('consent', 'update', …) with the new values. In addition, an event named cookie_consent_update is pushed to the data layer (dataLayer) so that Google ecosystem tools adapt their behavior in real time.
4. Cookie categories in use
We distinguish five categories: (a) Strictly necessary: keep the session, protect the site against attacks and store your consent preferences; (b) Functional: remember interface options such as the selected language; (c) Analytics: allow us to understand, in aggregate, how the site is navigated; (d) Advertising: enable Google Ads and other networks to measure campaigns and show relevant messages; (e) Personalization: adapt content according to your previous behavior. All categories, except strictly necessary, require your express consent.
5. Persistence and revocation
Your choice is saved in the browser's local storage (localStorage) for 12 months, or until you revoke or clear it. If you clear the site's cookies or storage, the banner will reappear on your next visit so that you can freely express your decision again.
6. How to revoke or change your preferences
You may revoke or change your preferences at any time by clicking the «Manage cookies» link located in the footer. Additionally, most browsers allow you to block cookies entirely, although this may affect the basic functionality of the site.
7. Third parties involved
The main third-party services that may install cookies — always with your prior consent — are: Google Ads (identifier AW-18064110603), Google Analytics 4 (when active) and defensive infrastructure providers for the site. Each of these services is governed by its own privacy policy, links to which may be requested at privacidad@syncmeshar.com.
8. Questions and complaints
Any query relating to this policy may be sent to privacidad@syncmeshar.com. You may also file complaints with the Agency of Access to Public Information (AAIP), the national enforcement authority in matters of personal data protection.
